Boakai Commits To Peace, Opened Relationships With All Nations

President Joseph Boakai has highlighted Liberia’s unwavering dedication to promoting peace and fostering open relations with all nations.
On Tuesday July 16, President Boakai graciously received a Letters of Credence from seven distinguished Ambassadors who hail from Ireland, Guinea, Namibia, Hungary, Burundi, Czech Republic, and Sri Lanka in a ceremony held at the Executive Mansion.
Addressing the Ambassadors at the ceremony, President Boakai emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening the strong bilateral relationships between Liberia and several key nations.
According to him, these partnerships are crucial for Liberia’s development and progress on the global stage. Underscoring the importance of international cooperation and mutual respect.
He warmly welcomed the Guinean Ambassador, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with neighboring countries within the Mano River Union (MRU) to foster prosperity, peace, and security.
“He conveyed his sincere appreciation for their presence adding that, throughout his tenure he will fortify these ties between Liberia and these nations.”
In separate conversations with the Ambassadors, he extended gratitude to their respective Heads of State for entrusting them with diplomatic roles in Liberia.
Meanwhile, the Ambassadors, in turn, conveyed their countries’ eagerness to collaborate with the Liberian Government in advancing developmental initiatives encompassing agriculture, security, water supply, healthcare, and governance.
“The formal presentation of Letters of Credence solidifies the genuine and strengthened diplomatic alliances between the participating countries.”
