“Be Ambassadors” -Weah Rallies Liberians

President George M. Weah is calling on the citizenry to serve as ambassadors of fostering peace and national unity.
The outgoing President, also rallied the country’s youthful population to embrace peace as the first, last, and surest option, ensuring a more vibrant, impactful, and economically developed nation.
In his new year message at his Forky Jlaleh Family Fellowship Church, President Weah also warned the young people not to be used in undermining the hard-earned peace the country now enjoys.
According to him, it is essential for the country’s youths not to be carried away by some of their colleagues who have refused to take in the training their parents gave them, but desire to engage in drugs and crimes.
Speaking on the theme “Peace, the best option for a happier life,” the President also reminded Liberians to never again return to the dark days of the country’s past, revealing the dreadful happenings that the nation must never experience.”
The Liberian leader narrated further that it is time Liberian realize that the country is one of the best on the planet, on which powerful countries depend “and no matter the situation, Liberia must never return to its ugly past.”
He, at the same time, rallied members of his church “to unite as ambassadors in fostering peace and national unity, as a catalyst in meeting your destiny helper in 2024 and beyond.”
