Basketball Referees Goes To Election This Weekend

The Liberia Basketball Referees Association (LBRA), is set to go to election on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The Independent Elections Committee of the LBRA has informed all members of the Liberia Basketball Referees Association on the basic requirements and timetable for 2023-LBRA Elections, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 2,2023.

Below are the requirements:

Requirements and Qualifications for Chief Referee and Deputy Chief Referee.

* He/ she shall be a Liberian

* He / She shall be thirty (30) years of age and above

* He/ She must have officiated five (5) first division finals

* He/ She must have good moral conduct and active

* He/ She shall be a full member of the association.

2. Treasurer and Financial Secretary

* He/ She shall be a Liberian citizen

* He/ She must command good moral standing and have a basic knowledge and skills in accounting or book keeping

* He/ She shall be able to prepare periodic reports on financial transactions within the association.

3. Chaplain

* He/ She shall must be a Liberian citizen

* He/ She must have the fear of God Almighty

* He/ She must be able to lead prayers at all times

4. Submission of application is from Thursday, November 23, 2023 to Monday, November 27, 2023

* Campaign start date: November 28, 2023

* Campaign end date: December 1, 2023 @ 12midnight

* Elections Day – December 2, 2023

* Elections Time: 10am to 3pm

* Venue: Sports Commission on Broad Street.
