A-Z Corp. Signs Sponsorship Deal With IE

A-Z Corporation, the importer of the drink ‘Ovaltine’, has signed a yearly sponsorship deal with the Majestic Sports Association for the Invincible Eleven Football Club (IE).
The deal is valued at over US$2,000 and is subject to extension, based upon gains made between both parties on the terms and conditions therein. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the early hours of yesterday, Wednesday, December 13, 2023 between the corporation and the club at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
Signing for the new sponsor for one of Liberia’s oldest football clubs, Faisal Awar, the Marketing Manager for the A-Z Corporation, expressed the institution’s excitement about finally getting involved into the Liberian football community as a sponsor to a club in the topflight league.
Awar said the sponsorship to IE as part of the company’s social cooperate responsibility, is to promote a healthy life in the country, which is found in Ovaltine, and will be used to give Liberian football a glance of surviving stronger and healthier, both on and off the playing pitch.
He said, “At Ovaltine, we have always been committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through our nutritious drink, packed with minerals and vitamins.”
The Ovaltine Marketing Manager explained that the collaboration with the Invincible Eleven Football Club goes beyond the field to reflect their dedication to social cooperate responsibility and fostering a healthier community, adding that the company also believes in contributing to the economy of Liberia by creating job opportunities and supporting sports, among others.
Awar declared unwavering support to the club, promising to stand behind them as they strive to achieve success. “Today we are declaring our unwavering support to the IE team and will stand by them as they strive for success, and our commitment extends beyond just sponsorship. We anticipate continued collaboration with the team contributing to the prosperity of Liberia as A-Z Corporation.”
Speaking for the Majestic Sports Association, the General Manager, Eric Daniels, described it as a dream come true for the A-Z Corporation to sign a sponsorship deal with the Invincible Eleven football Club.
According to Daniels, the deal means a lot to the team because it has some financial incentives, as the club stands ready to take Ovaltine to the national league and communities at large, stating, “Ovaltine is a healthy drink and it will rejuvenate our players and make them more functional on the football field and the community at large.”
He thanked the A-Z Corporation, the Ovaltine family, for signing up to the Liberian league as a club sponsor, calling on other products and institutions to emulate their good example to grow the game across the country.
He said the contract being an annual contract, Invincible Eleven is going the wear the Ovaltine brand on its jersey in all competitions, and do everything possible to meet up with the terms and conditions of the contract, in order to make sure Ovaltine stays with the traditional Liberian football club.
