in his continuous efforts to buttress the national fight against the deadly corona virus , Rev. Dr. Atty. Larry konmla Bropleh has again made significant donations to his surrounding communities in Grand Bassa.
On Saturday May 2,2020, Dr Bropleh donated 4 new Dueler/ Bridgestone tyres to the Grand Bassa county/ Buchanan Central prison in upper Buchanan to be used on the prison’s vehicle, a Nissan Patrol.
Dr Bropleh had earlier repaired the vehicle that had been inactive for over 9 months due to the lack of funds.
To the excitement and jubilation of prison superintendent Maj. Tom Butler Kamala, his principal deputy Charity and other members of staff and even inmates, Dr Bropleh said that the donation of new tyres was to enable the prison staff become mobile again in order they would be able to effectively execute their duties.
He said this is a small way that he would like to continue to support the overall fight against under the Weah’s leadership,
He furthered that the fact that the Central prison is located in his place of birth, Upper Buchanan..
In response, the chief superintendent of the prison Major Tom Butler Kamala thanked Dr Bropleh for what he termed as ‘ always being there for the Buchanan Central prison when we call upon him, major Kamala said He recently took over as superintendent of the prison and immediate call upon Dr Bropleh to assist refurbish offices and repair the prison vehicle, something he said by providing paint and other materials needed to give a face-lift. In addition, repairing the vehicle at a cost of over US 500 and tyres cost 640 in total of US 1’140 dollars.
It can be recalled that a fortnight ago , Dr Bropleh donated several bags of rice ,oil, cubes, along with hand washing buckets, detergents and other assorted items to many disadvantaged families including the old folks home in central Buchanan where many are visually impaired and physical challenged.
