Representative Musa Bility of electoral district 7 in Nimba County has warned Vice President Jeremiah Koung to keep away from the local politics in Nimba.
Speaking to the Inquirer in Saclepea, Rep. Bility pointed an accusing finger at Vice President Koung for allegedly interfering in the local politics in Nimba County.
According to Bility, Senator PYJ’s death should not be used to divide, but should be used to unify the people of the county.
“Vice President Koung is an honorable man, let him keep away from our local politics here in Nimba, we will fight anybody that comes in our way in the by- senatorial election in the county,” Rep Bility warned.
“If Vice President Koung want to serve as a campaign manager for Rep. Samuel Kogar, we will fight back politically,” Rep Bility stated sternly.
The Nimba County District 7 law maker made the statement over the weekend in Saclepea during an induction ceremony of Mack Gblinwon, who is one of the eight candidates eyeing the senatorial seat on the ticket of the Citizen Movement For Change (CMC) in Nimba .
The CMC’s political leader, Rep. Bility has openly expressed interest in the upcoming senatorial by-election stating that he will willingly, financially and morally support the candidature of Mack Gblinwon.
Since the warning to VP Koung by Rep. Musa Bility of the CMC in a huge political rally in Saclepea, there has been no official statement from the office of Vice President Koung.
When the Inquirer contacted VP Koung’s Special Assistant Knowden via mobile phone, the phone was switched off.
