GCK-2024 Momentum Swells Across Montserrado

Since Friday, November 15, 2024, excitement has been building across Liberia as thousands of believers continue to prepare for the upcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), scheduled to take place in Monrovia from November 28 to December 3, 2024.
In the lead-up to this landmark event, Christians from all denominations are rallying together to share the message of “The Great Escape through Faith in Christ” in their communities and homes.
Over the weekend, thousands of believers took to the streets of Monrovia, participating in parades and awareness campaigns that stretched from various districts, including Brewersville, Bushrod Island, Gardnerville, Paynesville, and Broad Street.
The processions, which culminated at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex symbolized the unity of Liberia’s Christian community and marked the official countdown to the six-day event.
The Global Crusade with Kumuyi will be the first of its kind in Liberia, and it will be led by Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi, the founder and General Overseer of Deeper Life Ministry.
Widely regarded as the “Prince of Preachers,” Pastor Kumuyi has spent over five decades preaching the gospel worldwide, with a ministry that spans multiple continents.
Despite being in his eighties, the preacher continues to hold crusades, spreading messages of spiritual revival and healing.
Pastor Kumuyi’s visit is expected to bring not only a powerful message of hope and redemption but also a tangible support to Liberia.
In partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Global Crusade with Kumuyi will offer free medical services, including health screenings and treatments, particularly for underserved communities.
Medical professionals will be on hand to provide diagnoses and care, further demonstrating the outreach’s commitment to meeting the physical needs of the Liberian people.
In addition to his preaching sessions, Pastor Kumuyi will hold special programs for the youth, designed to empower and inspire the next generation of Liberians.
He will also host a ministers’ conference to equip local pastors with the knowledge and tools necessary to strengthen their ministries.
Church leaders across Liberia are particularly eager for this opportunity to engage with one of the world’s most respected Christian leaders.
Pastor Soji Ajayi-Albert, National Coordinator of Deeper Life Ministry in Liberia, has encouraged all Liberians to participate in the crusade, believing that this is a divine moment for the nation.
“Dr. Kumuyi has been sent to Liberia for such a time as this,” said Pastor Ajayi-Albert, who led the prayerful procession along with other church leaders. “This is not just an event, but a spiritual awakening that will impact our nation for years to come.”
Bishop Sam B. Oroge, Apostolic Shepherd of the Grace Churches and media consultant for GCK Liberia 2024, expressed his excitement for the event, recalling how Pastor Kumuyi’s ministry had profoundly affected him as a young boy.
“To see him return to Liberia is a dream fulfilled,” Bishop Oroge said. “I know that this crusade will bring about a mighty move of God in this nation.”
As the days count down to the start of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, Liberia is bracing for a transformative spiritual experience that is expected to unite the nation, heal communities, and inspire future generations to walk in faith and purpose.
The event has already sparked widespread enthusiasm and prayer across the country, with churches, ministries, and Christian organizations all playing an active role in the preparations.
