Massa, 23, Launches Books

A wonderful launch of five new books involving Poetry and Stories by Massa Gray has hit diverse shelves in and across Montserrado County.
During the presentation, Ms. Gray firstly thanked her sponsor and supporters for making her accomplish her goals and promise that with their continued contributions, she is going to do more than what she has done; also she highlighted the impact of her books, which align with the Liberian education system with the soul intent to provide valuable education to kids, and young professionals.
Massa Gray is a 23 year-old youthful Liberian female Author who recently launched her five books which include; “Our Present, Our Future”,
“Passion times Purpose”, “The World needs Solution to Problems”, I am a Liberian and I am proud of my Roots,” Tamba and Satta, heroes of self-worth.
The Books launch held in Congo Town at the EJS Ministerial Complex, brought together students form two distinct institutions, Spiritian Academy and the University Methodist School System on August 27, 2024.
The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gbeme Horace Kollie, called on accomplished Liberian women to collaborate efforts in supporting the dreams of young Massa Gray through her endeavors.
Minister Horace-Kollie also encouraged young Liberians to emulate the examples of the youthful female author, stating that as youthful as Massa is, she is already contributing towards the educational system of the country through her writings.
Minister Horace termed Massa as an iconic person who can positively impact others through her writings from her strengths, resilience and perseverance.
Cllr. Yvette Chesson-Wureh, who happens to be one of the sponsors of Massa’s books launch in a Zoom address, joyfully applauds Miss Gray’s exceptional achievement and her commitment to patriotism and national pride.
She praised Ms. Gray for her dedication and impact through her writing, calling her a shining example of younger generation.
Ms. Gray, who is also already a public health professional with over five years of experience, expressed gratitude to the numerous sponsors for the official launch of her book.
According to Massa, her inspiration to become an author derived from reflections on the death of her only brother in the NIKO Ivanka Shipwreck, two days following her Birthday celebration on July 12, 2021.
Giving the overview of her books, Massa said, she decided to simplify health and climate change education for children to learn about the issues they are faced with in their daily lives.
