The bulletin is to showcase activities of the Commission covering the three electoral cycles: before, during and after elections.
The first edition of the NEC News Bulletin, which will be published every two-months, covers from May-August, 2024.
This Maiden Edition marked, 001 focuses on major events including the establishment of a Road Map by members of the Board of Commissioners (BOC), for the 2029 General Elections in Liberia, the introduction of the first new Gender Inclusion Policy, and several final Observation Reports from the 2023 General Elections in Liberia from both local and international observers.
It also emphasizes the participation of the NEC-Liberia Chairperson and a dozen other female Chairpersons of African Election Management Bodies (EMBs) towards establishing a Network of Women Chairpersons of Elections Management Bodies (EMBs) in Africa, and the ongoing Inter-Ministerial and Agencies’ collaboration with the Commission in establishing a road map for the possible conduct of Chieftaincy and Municipal Elections as well as Boundary Delimitation in Liberia.
The NEC News Bulletin is accessed through its latest web app named, ‘News Bulleting App.’
