Ombudsman Boss Jailed In Bassa

A current head of the ombudsman office, Cllr. Findley Y. Kangar, has been jailed by the 2nd Circuit Court Judge, Joe S. Barkon of Grand Bassa County.
Cllr. Finley Karnga was jailed for always grossly disrespecting court whenever he has case at the court.
The human rights lawyer was also jailed for his refusal to honor court’s precepts, and the taxing of the Bill of Costs in a case growing out of an ejectment suit in which the Supreme Court ordered the judge to make a determination.
Up to press time last evening, it was reported that Cllr Finley was still behind bars at the Buchanan Central Prison and he is expected to be released today, Thursday, May 2, 2024.
