Bong County District 7 Representative, Joseph Papa Kolleh, has dedicated a newly constructed Youth Center and a Clan Chief Office to residents of Volomeni Town in Sanoyea District, lower Bong County.
The ceremony, which took place over the weekend, brought together chiefs, elders, women, youths, and the motorcyclists in Sanoyea District.
Speaking during the program, Kolleh lauded the people of Volomeni and its surrounding villages for their continuous support and willingness to enhance national growth and development.
The Bong County Lawmaker reminded the gathering that the Youth Center and Clan Chief Office projects are in fulfillment of one of his campaign promises made to the people of Volomeni, during the electoral process in 2017.
He said that the newly constructed Youth Center and Clan Chief Office will serve as a signal to those who preach mere politics without developmental approach.
“I’m very happy to have this Youth Center and Clan Chief Office projects being dedicated today. I am honored to dedicate this beautiful structure to you all my beloved people of Volomeni Town, you people stood by me during the election, so l am here to say thank you,” Rep. Kolleh said
“I will never finish thanking you all for the opportunities I have been given. I’m extremely grateful for the trust invested in me to lead and develop this part of Bong County. I believe that this Youth Center and Clan Chief Office are a perfect image and reflection of my effort and hard work in the overall development of Sanoyea District,” the Bong County District 7 Lawmaker added.
The ALP Representative called on residents of the area to put aside their political differences and come together for the common good of the district.
In remarks, Clan Chief, Joseph Mulbah, extended thanks to Rep. Kolleh for his outstanding performances and good working relationship over the years with local leaders of the district.
He admitted that Rep. Kolleh is the only lawmaker in the history of Sanoyea District that has demonstrated excellence in towns and villages within District 7, Bong County.
Chief Mulbah boastfully stated that Sanoyea clan will do all it can to ensure that Kolleh is maintained at the House of Parliament.
Also speaking, Abel Linka, youth president, extended commendations to their district lawmaker for seeing the need to construct such a modern town hall in their community.
He believes that with the construction of the Youth Center and Clan Chief Office, residents will now have a place to sit and discuss issues of paramount concern.
Linka assured Rep. Kolleh that he is going to move from place to place in order to rally the youths and other residents across the district to re-elect their son, come October.
