Officer Kemokai Replaces Wari As Commander In Nimba

The Liberia National Police has with immediate effect assigned Dixon Kemokai as the new Police Commander for Nimba county thereby replacing Augustine Wari
At the induction ceremony, LNP Region 3 Commander, Morris Teanah, disclosed that it was by the directive of the Police Inspector General, Patrick Sudue, that Kemokai takes over from Wari.
The Region three Commander for Nimba, Bong, Lofa Counties, Teamah called on the Police to respect the rules of law and work in line with the Constitution.
Speaking on behalf of the citizens, Superintendent Nelson Korquoi, who warned residents to take politics out of security expressed that the joint security lacks vehicles which is hampering security presence in the nine electoral districts in the county.
The former Commander, Augustine Wari, thanked the joint security and county administration for their cordial working relationship provided him during the discharged of his duty while the new LNP Commander boasted of being a trained, professional officer thereby promising to work with the security sectors in the county.
Kemokai served as Commander in Margibi County before assuming the new post.
Nimba is second to Montserrado boast with the highest human populations, but lack operational vehicles to battle crimes.
