The Deputy Minister for Operations Ministry at the Internal Affairs, Matenokay Tingban has tendered in his resignation to the Weah-led Government.
Tingban’s resignation comes barely a week after President weah relieved Cllr. cooper Kruah of his position as Minister of Post and Telecommunications.
“I bring you sincere greetings and wish to inform you that I am tendering in my resignation from the position of Deputy Minister for Operations at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Republic of Liberia, effective as of May 5, 2023,” Tingban stated.
The former Deputy Minister attributed to his resignation to health conditions and family matters.
Highlighting his gains in government, he said ‘as Deputy Minister, “I fought to protect the government and positively protected it against unnecessary and negative branding by the public, and promoted its good image and your wonderful Pro-Poor Agenda for prosperity, and development.”
According to him, “these battles were often hard won, and with your leadership, I am proud of our many accomplishments.”
