Heaven Eleven Hopes To Clinch First League Championship

The Liberia Football Association First Division outfit Heaven Eleven Football Club is gradually hopeful of clinching the Orange National League title in the course of seven games remaining to close the season.

Since the resumption of the second phase of the league after the mid-season transfer window, the club is yet to be defeated after playing six games. It is either the Heavenly Boys collect a point in the case of two games or emerge victorious in the other four games.

The stance for improving their participation in the current National First Division campaign has also led to daily improvement in her position on the league table currently at fifth place with 30 points.

With under performance of the club like many others at the start of the league season, the mid-season transfer has improved many playing squads giving football followers and supporters the impression that the remaining portion of the season still remains unpredictable.

The inclusion of new cabala of players for Heaven Eleven is accordingly the source of new beginning for the club after rating one of their new signings in Moses Cooper as the light of betterment in the squad.

Cooper joined the team during the break from the Turkish football competition where he played for Tarim Kredi Sports of Turkey, and since his return to Liberian football, the former Mighty Barrolle and Tarim Kredi Sports striker continue to promote excellence in the national league.

For Heaven Eleven, Moses Cooper has played six League games with seven goals contribution.  Recorded among his goals’ contribution is a hat-trick scored against LPRC Oilers.

Cooper emerged as the hero of the match between LPRC Oilers and Heaven Eleven during a beautiful atmosphere on a Friday evening, February 24, 2023. His triple netting for three goals powered Heaven Eleven to a 5-4 win against her host Oilers at the Tusa Field in Gardnersville City.

According to Cooper, he finds pleasure playing in the Liberian league for the growth and development of sports in his motherland. The goal puncher expressed pleasure for scoring five goals for his new club in the national league and giving out two assists.

He has played six games for the Heaven Eleven Football Club and is expected to be featured in the remaining seven games to complete the ongoing season, and describing himself as ‘the new level in the club’, Moses Cooper added that his side is one of the most outstanding teams to clinch the current campaign title.

He noted with confidence that six wins could be the best result for Heaven Eleven to set the record, winning the Liberia Football Association National First Division trophy.

In the remaining seven fixtures, the Heavenly Boys are expected to meet the current ‘BIG THREE’ namely, Bea Mountain, LISCR and Watanga with all of them wishing to get better points in the campaign.

Other teams to complete the season’s fixtures against Heaven Eleven are, Sandi FC, Cece United, Musca FC and Freeport FC which happens to be the last meeting for Coach Arab Fofana and Heaven Eleven.
