Nigeria On 62nd Independence

President George Manneh Weah has conveyed profound felicitations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion commemorating the 62nd Independence Anniversary on October 1, 2022 of that country.
In the message to his Nigerian counterpart, Mr. Muhamadu Buhari, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Nigerian leader, and through him, to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as they commemorate this historic milestone.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah further indicated that the cordial and bilateral relations between the two West African States will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.
The Liberian President also looks forward to a continued collaboration with his Nigerian counterpart as the two countries work together in furtherance of the principles of the African Union, the United Nations, and the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS for the promotion of international peace and security. .
He then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Buhari with abundant wisdom and strength as he leads his compatriots to greater prosperity.
