Missing Motorcyclist Found

A motorcyclist, Elijah Isaac, 22, who allegedly went missing in Ganta City has been found and turned over to the Liberia National Police.
Speaking to this paper at the LNP station in Ganta, Emmanuel Tonziah, explained how Isaac went missing during the beginning of September 2022 in Ganta, Nimba County.
According to Tonziah, after searching for a week without knowing or seeing Isaac, the case was reported to the LNP to help know the whereabouts of the missing motorcyclist.
“Motorcyclist Isaac was asked by a man identify as Francis Kromah whom claimed to be a Sierra Leonean to commute him to withdraw money from the bank in Guinea where they were arrested by the Guinean security on grounds that he is a US Marine but days later released,” Emmanuel Tonziah acknowledged.
Speaking on the same issue at the LNP station in Ganta, motorcyclist Isaac explained that Kromah told him he is a US Marine asked him to escort him to escort him to Guinea to get his money from the bank and him for US$ 1,000 respectively.
According to Isaac, he was arrested along with Kromah while trying to withdraw a huge amount of US Dollars at the bank in Guinea and spent three days in the cell but was later released by the security.
The motorcyclist added that while trying to escape with him to an unknown location, he along with passenger Kromah was again arrested by the state security in Guinea after being informed by the security in Liberia.
When this paper contacted the Police Station in Ganta, the CSD Commander, Preston Gonpue, confirmed the arrest and detention of suspect Kromah saying that he is undergoing investigation.
