The Harmonizers Entertainment Group will on Friday 5, August 2022 embark on a five-day musical expedition to Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The trip is aimed at creating insight on her original music and the rich culture of Liberia.
Speaking to this paper yesterday, the president for Harmonizers Entertainment Group James Coco Chea, mentioned that the Group has produced several hit songs including; “Even Wars Have Limits”, “Master Plan”, “Show Some Love”, “You Know Today” among other songs that contributed to the peace process in Liberia through a partnership with the United Nations Public Information Office (PIO) of the United Nations Mission In Liberia (UNMIL).
According to him, using music as a tool for social cohesion, the trip will also create new avenues for partnership with other counterparts in Sierra Leone that will enhance cultural ties between the two countries.
“While in Sierra Leone; Harmonizers Entertainment Group will perform in other towns and districts like Tienne, Kenema, Sulima and Bo. With her 22- member team of instrumentalists, dancers, singers, coordinators and videographers under the leadership of Liberia’s award winning musician, James Coco Chea,” he explained.
Harmonizers Entertainment Group is a Liberian owned nonprofit organization founded in 2008 and was incorporated in 2012 with the aim to promote peace, security, development, gender equality, respect, healthy living and respect for nature through outreach activities using music as tool to create awareness, sensitize, and encourage community partnership.
