Father Cries For Justice

By Bill W. Cooper
The father of a seven-year old-girl who was found dead in Mount Barclay recently is crying for justice for his daughter.
Lomell Davies said his daughter Jomell Davies got missing on July 23, 2022, when she was sent by her grandmother to buy pampers.
He said the little girl was found dead the following day at the back of her mother’s home in the Nimba United Community.
According him, since the incident, no arrest has been made in the community by the Liberia National Police (LNP) as means to ensure justice prevails for his daughter.
Mr. Lomell Davies is at the same time calling on the Ministry of Justice to launch an investigation into the incident, noting, “Though I have buried my daughter, I still need justice for her.”
He said his quest now is to see and ensure that Government arrest those he termed as people of interest in his daughter’s alleged murder.
“I need justice for my daughter. Those individuals who raped and murdered my child should be arrested and face the full weight of the law because if nothing is done now, those thugs will still repeat same,” he said.
“We cannot live in our own country like this where there is no rule and order. People raped and killed my innocent child and be allowed to go Scott-free. It is time that our government begin to protect her citizens,” Mr. Lomell lamented.
