7 Benefit From 5-Yr Scholarship In Maryland

Adolphus Williams alias Dogbone has been granted a five-year scholarship opportunity though the Assembly of God Church in Maryland to assist in maintaining children in school.
The recipients of this scholarship are David K. Dees, Bentina S. Toe, Abigail Tarkou, Nathaline Choloply, Helena Dennis, Patience Williams, and Ida B. Quitee.
Highlighting the pressing economic challenges families face, Dogbone emphasized that many are unable to send their children to school, a situation he believes requires urgent attention.
He made the offer when the Ministry certificated him in recognition of his humanitarian contributions to the district and the county on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Big AG Church in Gebio, Pleebo City.
Williams expressed how inspired he was by the joyful voices of the children’s English choir and then offered seven members of the choir scholarships in their educational pursuit.
In addition to the scholarships, Williams donated LD 100,000 to the church to assist with various projects within the A God Church.
Pastor Samuel Dennis commended the scholarship initiative, describing it as a significant boost for the children’s English choir department.
He noted that such support is invaluable for families struggling to finance their children’s education.
The former president of the young adults, Joseph Banney, who received the funds on behalf of the church, and stated that this is the first time the children’s English choir has received such a gesture.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to Williams for his generous and humanitarian contribution to the choir’s future and called on other humanitarian groups to assist needy children and less privileged families within the Assembly of God Church.
