MARUSU Encourages 2025 Prospective High School Graduates

The Margibi University Students Union (MARUSU) has issued an inspiring message to the resilient 12th-graders who recently completed the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

In a heartfelt message delivered by the group on Thursday, MARUSU congratulated the students on their hard-earned success and urged them to continue their educational journey beyond high school.

Addressing the prospective high school graduates as “Dear Resilient 12th Graders,” MARUSU acknowledged the dedication and perseverance that brought them from the early stages of their academic lives, referred to as the “Kindergarten phase,” to the pivotal moment of completing their senior school exams.

The students were encouraged to envision their futures beyond high school and to consider furthering their education through university studies or vocational training emphasizing that completing the WASSCE is not an end but rather the beginning of a new chapter.

MARUSU highlighted the importance of acquiring additional skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving society, urging graduates to prepare themselves for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

As proud representatives of Margibi County, MARUSU pledged its unwavering support to the prospective graduates in their professional and academic pursuits.

The union expressed optimism that these young individuals would become future leaders and change-makers who will elevate the profile of Margibi County and contribute meaningfully to Liberia’s national growth and development.

“We stand ready to support you in your professional pursuits. Together, we can elevate the profile of our county and contribute to Liberia’s growth,” the statement read.

The message concluded with warm regards and an open invitation for the graduates to join the university community, signaling a hopeful and promising future for the youth of Margibi County. This public encouragement from MARUSU reflects a broader commitment within Liberia to empower young people through education and leadership development, ensuring that the next generation is equipped to drive progress and innovation in the country.
