The Liberia National Police is investing an alleged rape matter involving a 12 year old which is linked to an LDEA officer Kingston Moore in Grand Gedeh.
Speaking in Zwedru, Harrison Doe, correction officer assigned at the Zwedru central prison pointed accused at LDEA Moore of raping his little daughter on March 8, 2025 in his bedroom at about 9: 00 pm.
According to Doe, Moore allegedly called the girl into the room to go buy him food on the road but allegedly raped her.
“I came from work at about 8: pm my wife informed me that our daughter left the yard about 7:00 pm and she has not returned she came out and found her slipper in front of Moore’s room; when she asked him, Moore started begging her to be peaceful in her approach therefore she reported the case to Police,” Doe narrated.
“We all live in the same yard and he is my security colleague; the case is now before the LNP pending investigations,” Doe revealed.
When the LDEA central office in Zwedru was contacted, Darlington Saye, the Deputy County Commander confirmed the allegations linking Kingston Moore and referred the paper to the DEA county commander for informed detail.
The Commnader, Papa Gompu said LDEA officer Kingston Moore is on the run since the incident emphasizing, “We are in search of him and the case is before the police,” Commander Gompu pointed out.
WACPS section commander Othello Saygbe said the police is conducting investigation into the case.
