Over the weekend, President Boakai join members of the Christian Community and national stakeholders at the National Prayer Breakfast, held under the theme, “Lord, Heal Our Land.” The event, which took place at the Monrovia City Hall, brought together leaders from all sectors of society to seek divine intervention for peace, unity, and progress in Liberia.
Making remarks, President Boakai emphasized the significance of humility, prayer, and collective action in addressing the challenges Liberia faces. He called on all Liberians to embrace reconciliation, seek God’s guidance, and commit to building a brighter future for the nation.
“As we gather under the banner of faith, let us remember that Liberia’s strength lies in our ability to unite as one people, guided by God’s wisdom and love,” President Boakai stated. “Through prayer, repentance, and collaboration, we can achieve healing and transformation for our land,” President Boakai said.
He however, reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive governance that respects the religious diversity of Liberia.
Meanwhile, the Christian Community, expressed profound gratitude for the President’s participation, describing his presence as a sign of humility and his commitment to seeking divine guidance for Liberia’s continued renewal.
