In a move to bolster communication and information dissemination in Margibi County’s District 5, Representative Clarence G. Gahr has successfully completed the purchase of two state-of-the-art radio transmitters.
The procurement of the radio equipment comes weeks after the Lawmaker procured two earth-moving equipment to be used for road connectivity in the district.
The radio equipment includes a 500-watt and a 1000-watt transmitter, which will be used in Worhn Town, Gibi District, and Weala, Cinta Township, respectively.
A staffer of Rep. Gahr, Nelson Tamba Walker, said this investment aims to improve local broadcasts, enhance community engagement, and ensure timely updates on key developments across the district.
He stated that the initiative by the Lawmaker underscores his commitment to transparency and inclusive communication, ensuring that vital information reaches every corner of District 5.
Nelson added that the acquisition of these radio transmitters is part of Rep. Gahr’s broader efforts to developing the district, following his recent fulfillment of a campaign promise to purchase earth-moving machines for road development.
“This latest move is seen as a significant step in fostering development and governance continuity in the district” he explained.
