LIS Wants Q-Net Legal Documents Revoked

Authorities of the Liberia Immigration Service ( LIS) have called on the Government of Liberia to revoke all legal documents authorizing Q- Net to operate in Liberia as a legitimate company in the country.
According to information gathered from the LIS, Q- Net has been duping people under the pretend of providing business and education opportunities to the public.
LIS recent investigation established show that Q-Net is involved in to human trafficking, extortion, theft and fraud in Liberia.
Investigation report from the LIS states that rank leaders from Q-Net managed to dup three Liberians women ages ranging from18-29 under the pretend of providing greener pastures opportunity in Nigeria for them and took away from the women US$ 5,850.
The Q-Net ranking leaders Investigated have been forwarded to the Liberia National Police (LNP) Anti Human Trafficking Section for legal precedure into the laws of Liberia.
During the LIS investigation conducted on April 4,2025, three Liberians females between ages 18-29, two of white are in high school and the other, a high school graduate were traveling to Nigeria, based on a reasonable suspicion of a related human trafficking, they were invited by state security for questioning and later turned over to the LIS at the Robert International Airport ( RIA) on the same day of April 4,2025 for further investigation. At the LIS recent investigation conducted, Miss Susan Nuah, Princess L. Peters and Pamelia Peters informed the LIS that they were traveling to Nigeria for an accessment on school to attend. They explained that after the completion of their payment of over US$ 5850.00 to one Mr. Terry Trip Turay of the Q- Net situated at the Thinkers Village in 2023, the ladies were promised scholarship opportunity. And from growing concerns and pressure from the women parents about scholarship opportunity. Turay one of Q- Net ranking leader decided to send the ladies to Nigeria and upon their arrival to Nigeria they were going to be picked up from the airport by one of his co- workers Franklin P. Midway.
Turay during the investigation admitted to receive the money the ladies to do business which he provided products for them and later agreed to send their children to Nigeria to trade school to study computer with the name of his co-workers; Simeon Karmo, Marshall George, Decent Fineboy Nukaiplie, Jeremiah Mulbah, Aaron P. Miaway and Enoch Harris along with Franklin Miaway who is in Nigeria.
Following the LIS investigation and findings, the case has been turned over to the Liberia National Police (LNP) for further legal actions by the Government of Liberia (GOL), and is recommending to the government of Liberia that those Q- Net ranking officials be charged for Extortion, Theft and fraud.
Additionally, new
investigation for Q- Net for another group of people is ongoing at the LIS.
