Deputy Fallah Admonishes Region 3 Dwellers To Unite

Thomas P. Fallah, the Deputy Speaker of the Liberian parliament and Representative of Lofa County Electoral District 1, has stressed the importance of unity among citizens of Bong, Nimba, and Lofa Counties in supporting the region’s overall development ahead of the 2029 general and presidential elections in Liberia.
The Deputy Speaker of the 55th Legislature urged the citizens of Region 3 to disregard their political differences and embrace development initiatives that aim to improve the economy of the counties.
According to the representative of Lofa County Electoral District 1, achieving this development goal requires citizens of these counties to have a united mind.
The 55th Deputy Speaker revealed that Bong, Nimba, and Lofa Counties are very rich in minerals, and they are greatly contributing to the development of the country.
The Deputy Speaker affirmed that the three counties are also large in population, which he believes the inhabitants could contribute to running the government affairs of Liberia.
According to him, the region’s development could be aided by the people’s commitment to supporting development initiatives and emphasizing their involvement.
He urged all citizens to unite and support their leaders, which he thinks will foster unity and lead to positive changes in Lofa, Nimba, and Bong Counties.
The Lofa County representative thanked Bong County Superintendent Hawa Loleyah Norris for the progress made in the County in terms of development.
Deputy Speaker Fallah expressed gratitude to Superintendent Norris for preserving peace and coordination among the three leaders, mentioning that the long-standing relationship between the three counties began in 1964.
He further explained the cultural uniqueness among citizens of the region. “If you look at Lofa alone, it holds over five ethnic groups, and as such, the county has its citizens in every part of the country,” he noted.
The second-ranking lawmaker in the House of Representatives acknowledged the efforts of the Lofaians residing in Bong for their farsightedness to raise funds for the construction of the County sports stadium.
