A group in Grand Bassa County known as ‘Bassa Point’ has provided office supplies to the Police Traffic Division aimed at boosting efficiency and morale.
During a handover ceremony held last week in the county, representatives from Bassa Point presented the division with an assortment of much-needed items, including reams of paper, boxes of chalk, notebooks, pens, dusters, and an electric fan.
The donation is intended to improve the working conditions of officers who play a critical role in maintaining traffic safety and order across the county.
Eleazar Samuel Barclay, Secretary General of Bassa Point, underscored the organization’s commitment to giving back.
“Bassa Point has always been about community. This donation is a reflection of our values and our appreciation for those who work tirelessly to protect and serve,” said Mr. Barclay. “We recognize the dedication of the officers here, and we hope this small gesture goes a long way in making their jobs a little easier.”
Founded in May 2023, Bassa Point has quickly earned a reputation for its social impact, regularly extending aid to marginalized and underprivileged communities.
The organization continues to grow under the leadership of Enoch Carter, Assistant CEO Sylvester, Chairlady Eyea Kpardeh, and other committed members.
Officers of the Police Traffic Division expressed heartfelt thanks for the donation, noting that the supplies would significantly enhance their daily operations.
They also encouraged Bassa Point to explore opportunities to support other departments within the police force, which often face similar resource constraints.
As Bassa Point continues to champion grassroots development across Grand Bassa County, the organization reiterated its dedication to fostering partnerships with public service institutions.
“This is just the beginning,” Mr. Barclay added. “We look forward to working hand-in-hand with the local authorities to strengthen our communities and ensure that those who serve are not forgotten.
