Agriculture Warehouse Turns Garage In Nimba

Ministry of Agriculture farmers warehouse situated near Gompa funeral home has been taken over by Guinean and turned into garage with immediate effect.
Speaking to the Inquirer Newspaper in Gompa , Wellington Wonkeryon , retired MOA employees said, alleged failure of the government to recondition the warehouse is among contributing factors that give birth to the Guinean take over the government real estate.
According to Wonkeryon , the alleged sale or leasing of the area to Guinean is worrisome and undermines the government agenda to fight against hunger policy .
“The old building on the land was constructed in early 1980 , as warehouse for the distribution of seed crops to registered farmers in and outside of the county ,” retire personnel Wonkeryon pointed out .
“The warehouse was built by the late Minister of agriculture S. Gblorzuo Toweh,” Alexander Saryeah, catholic community chairman revealed.
“Nobody knows who sold the area to the Guinean ,” Jackson Lekayehn added .
Since the beginning of 2023 , news has been circulating in Gompa over the alleged selling of the parcel of land to Guinean or the unity garage CEO by some MOA authorities in the country .
When this negtwork contacted the garage , the Guinean mechanic further disclosed that the parcel of land was turned over to them with a written document by some officials of the Ministry of Agriculture .
“I don’t come here by force , my garage name is unity garage , Ministry of Agriculture big boss gave me authorization to operate a garage here since 2013,” unity garage CEO boasted .
When this author contacted the Ministry of Agriculture office in Sanniquellie , the receptionist informed this paper that many of the staff have gone in the field .
