The Collaborating Political Party (CPP), Chairperson, Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence is envisioning a kind of leader.
The Grand Bassa County Senator’s statement was contained in her short Independence Day message posted on her Facebook page dated July 26.
“As we celebrate 174 years of independence, we are hopeful for a leader who will know that true leadership is about servant-hood,” she envisioned.
Adding, “Liberia is crying out for a leader who will walk in humility and consider the people more important than herself or himself,” she said.
According to her, Liberians deserve a leader who will not act out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but rather, a true God fearing and people-loving leader that is blessed by God, and chosen by the people.
“A leader that will inspire good, heal the land, and lift our falling country,” she pointed out.
The members of the Collaborating Political parties are expected to choose their presidential ticket to face President George Weah in 2023 presidential and legislative elections.
