The Managing Editor of THE INQUIRER Newspaper, Atty Philip N. Wesseh yesterday visited the home of ailing Professor Alhaji G. V. Kromah in Congo Town. Mr. Kromah, who has been retired as a full Professor taught Atty Wesseh in the Department of Mass Communications at the University of Liberia.
Speaking after the nearly one hour visit, Mr. Wesseh said his visit was mainly to identify with his former ailing Professor, who he said he holds in high esteem for the knowledge received from him (Kromah) as a student.
“Doing Media Law and Ethics under Professor Kromah gave me a clue to the legal profession and various ethical principles in journalism, “Mr. Wesseh pointed out.
“I will forever remain grateful to Professor Kromah for being one of those whose journalistic activities I admired even before becoming one of his students at the University of Liberia, ” Mr. Wesseh asserted, adding, “I admiringly read a lot of articles he wrote when I was in high school.”
He then wished Prof. Kromah speedy recuperation. Mr. Kromah is the founding Chairman of the opposition All Liberian Coalition Party (ALCOP).
For his part, Professor Kromah expressed gratitude to Atty Wesseh for the visit. Both of them are former residents of the Borough of Kru Town.
