President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the United States on the auspicious occasion commemorating the 244th Independence Anniversary of that country.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to U.S. President Donald Trump, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt facilitations and sincere best wishes to the Government and People of the United States as the U.S. celebrates this historic milestone in the midst of the current global pandemic, COVID- 19.
President George Manneh Weah further recalled, with deep satisfaction, the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples, which he said, continues to be enhanced over the years.
The Liberian President also recounted that as his country’s closest bilateral partner, Liberia will continue to engage positively with the United States so as to deepen the enduring ties of friendship between the two countries and peoples.
President George Manneh Weah then prayed that President Donald Trump will continue to be endowed with wisdom, good health and happiness as he leads the people of the United States to a prosperous future.
