President Weah Gets Commendations For Recent Appointment In Bong

A native of Zota District Doran B. Marcus is extending commendations to President George Weah for the recent appointment of Mr. James Dorbor Nakulah Sao as Assistant Minister for Macroeconomic Policy at the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning.
Macroeconomic policies include taxes, government spending and borrowing, exchange rate determinants, and monetary and credit rules.
The primary goal of effective macroeconomic policies is to reduce uncertainty and risk in economic decision-making.
Sao’s appointment has been joyfully celebrated on social media since Saturday evening.
Many are of the conviction that the Segt Kollie Town native will ably serve the ministry as prescribed in his letter of appointment.
Some are also extending commendations to President George Weah for appointing another son of Bong County at the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning.
Currently Augustus J Flomo, a native of Panta District is serving the Ministry as Deputy Minister for Economic Management.
His position covers managing the Aid Portfolio, Debt (domestics and external),
The National Patriotic Party NPP Bong Chapter Chairman, James Dorbor Sao is subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where application.
Sao’s appointment, according to Doran; is timely and meets the interest of Bongese.
Mr. Doran B. Marcus is of the conviction that the Segt Kollie Town native will ably serve the ministry as prescribed in his letter of appointment.
The Zota native is at the same time appealing to residents of the County especially electoral District #5 to put aside their political differences and rally around the Sergeant Kollie Town son for the growth and development of the County.
He told this paper that, Mr. Sao has over the years impacted the lives of some youths of the County through the provision of scholarship and job empowerment at Super Bongese Radio where he previously served as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Doran B. Marcus is meanwhile encouraging Senator Dr. Henrique Flomo Tokpa to remain claim and resubmit his bill seeking to make Tumutu Vocational training center into an agriculture college where students can get associate degrees in agriculture.
He thinks the resubmission of the bill which was recently vetoed by President Weah will see a possible passage by the President.
