FIFA Integrity Manager, Francois Braun, has concluded a weeklong workshop at the Liberia Football Association (LFA) with several sectors in football administration to benefiting.
Braun, who arrived in Monrovia on Monday, met LFA’s Acting President, Sekou Konneh, and Secretary General Isaac Montgomery in a closed-door session in the boardroom.
The FIFA Executive also held talks with LFA’s Integrity and Compliance Officer, Morris Barsi Giah, as well as the disciplinary and legal committees in a working session.
Braun held a meeting with the government’s focal team at the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to discuss the importance and way forward for the proposed FIFA Macolin Convention for West Africa to be held in Liberia.
It was attended by Barsi Giah, Assistant Justice Minister Eldrick Noah, Deputy Sports Minister Andy Quamie, Assistant Sports Minister James Toe and NLA’s Roger Abim-Karmon.
On Wednesday, Braun held an integrity briefing with the competitions department and referee committee respectively.
Braun concluded the final integrity session with clubs from the first, second and female divisions as well as referees, who officiate in the Orange National League, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex yesterday.
