Welcoming 2020, A Year Of fulfilled Deliverable

PRESIDENT GEORGE MANNEH Weah has served exactly three years of his six years’ term and considered his third year to be a year of total fulfillment of deliverables for his government and that his best officials of government would be those that will work tirelessly to ensure that his government attains its objective as outlined or captured in the Pro-poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development.
THE LIBERIAN LEADER is said to be concentrating on the completion of ongoing projects across Liberia while at the same time embarking on several new batch of projects thereby asserting that 2020 is a year of fulfilled deliverables.
SPEAKING THROUGH HIS press secretary office on Tuesday, President Weah said he will not take ‘no’ as an answer and that the government will make sure that all of its projects are done in time so that in this third year alone, all that should be done in terms of development across Liberia is attained.
HIGHLIGHTING SOME OF the new projects, the Executive Mansion assured of the Margibi County’s oldest high school, LANGO Lippy renovation as well as the additional classrooms, a new dormitory which are part of the government and the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) signed a contract.
OTHER ANNOUNCED PROJECTS expected to begin shortly and be concluded in this year are the construction of a modern market in Gbarnga, Bong County and the renovate the Gbarnga Central Market; while the ongoing projects that need to be completed this year as well are the Military Barrack with specific reference to the Careysburg Military Barrack and the 14 Military with renovation work currently ongoing at the Monrovia Central Prison.
SOME OF THE projects that are being undertaken and expected to be completed forming part of President Weah’s fulfilled deliverables began in his first year while some were announced in his second year; howbeit, those projects’ beneficiaries are upbeat that the President stays true to his words as he has announced.
WELCOME THE STATEMENT in the face of economic difficulties and hope that whatever will be done will be principally geared towards improving the economy of the country so that it will bring general improvement in the living standards of the people.
ANOTHER DELIVERABLE WE want to also remind our President about is the economy which he promised we will not be spectators of. We believe that this too needs to be fulfilled so that the masses on whose mandate he leads can find relieve and build that confidence once more.
LET US NOT mince our words, Mr. President, A hungry man is indeed an angry man therefore with all of the priority placed into infrastructural developments now considered deliverables, if your government does not look towards stabilizing the economy, all of the projects even when completed, a hundred percent, will be of no use to the citizenry.
