President Joseph Boakai has inaugurated the newly constructed complex to be used as the 14th Judicial Circuit Court in Cestos City, Rivercess County.
This state-of-the-art facility is a significant milestone in enhancing the legal system and judicial services in the region, underscoring the government’s commitment to improving judicial infrastructure nationwide.
Making remarks at the ceremony, President Boakai emphasized that, the establishment of such facilities is integral to his administration’s broader efforts to strengthen the rule of law and ensure fair and timely justice throughout Liberia.
He noted that, the new complex represents a pivotal shift in governance by decentralizing judicial responsibilities from a centralized hub.
President Boakai however, highlighted the Executive Branch’s commitment to collaborating closely with the Judiciary Branch to support the judicial system and promote equitable justice and called for greater coordination among the three branches of government to address critical issues such as corruption, abuse of power, and injustices.
President Boakai reiterated the significance of the new Judicial Complex in decentralizing governance and devolving power to a broader segment of the population.
He called for unity and trust in the judicial system, emphasizing the need for a collective effort to foster a new mindset for nation-building and sanitize the nation.
