“Bring Perpetrators To Book” -Says INCHR Maryland Monitor

The Monitor of the Independent Commission on Human Rights in Maryland County, Boniface Nyemah, overstayed pretrial detainees in the correction palace is a complete violation of their rights.
According to him, all justice actors most especially the office of the county attorney need to make speedy intervention as his office has investigated five mysterious disappearance cases within the Karluway to Harper Districts.
Boniface told the citizens and judicial actors during the opening of the August term of court that the bones of those who mysteriously disappeared cannot be discovered therefore, many citizens and residents of Karluway are living in fear as a result of mysterious disappearances of people.
The role of the human rights commission in this process is to ensure that nobody is tortured during investigations and that their rights are also protected, Nyemah narrated; saying, “The constant disappearance of people has the propensity to scare investors away; so, we are calling on your office to bring perpetrator to book.”
