At Charles Brumskine Funeral : Bishop Belleh Warns Against Negative Vices

By Bill W. Cooper
The Bethel Cathedral of Hope Bishop M. Wolo Belleh has warned the citizenry to do away with what he termed as “deception, animosity and undermining of one another, adding that politics has a way of dividing a nation, as he wants everyone to be peace ambassadors of the country.
He emphasized that everyone has a unique and distinct assignment in life that is different from another person’s assignment, stressing that if one does not understand the assignment of another person, that doesn’t mean that they should be criticized as life has a term and reference.
The Bishop indicated that it is good to have the right prospective of life, as it is also good to have the right prospective in life- stating that if anyone wants to succeed or make it, they should look up to God but not to act like them.
Bishop Bekleah made the call during the home going service of the late Cllr. Charles Walker Brumskine, former political leader of the opposition Liberty Party (LP) at the Bethel Cathedral of Hope edifice on Friday, December 13, 2019 in Oldest Congo Town.
Speaking on the theme: “The things that matter in life, is primary as far as God is concerned,” the preacher man said that God is the architect and designer of life and never makes anything in vain, noting that the late Cllr. Brumskine’s time of life was purposeful and said that there is time for everything, to be born and die making reference to the book of Hebrew 9:28 which states, “And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Paraphrasing a Facebook page phase, the Bishop stressed, “We are seated in a moving train as each one of us has an exit point in accordance with time, and if Cllr. Brumskine can be lying down in a casket today, who else cannot? As every person has a departure day.”
Additionally, he explained that life is a gift, and not just a gift, but has a source, and not just a source but a giver which does not emanate from below but comes from above in reference to Psalm 139:13-16.
The Bethel Cathedral Bishop then sent a caveat that Cllr. Brumskine has played his part and has finished talking- noting that it is time for everyone to pick up from where he stopped so that his legacy cannot go down the drainage.
Earlier, the former Vice President of the Republic of Liberia and the political leader of the opposition Unity Part (UP) who spoke on behalf of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Joseph Boikai mourned that Cllr. Also paying tribute, Charlyne, Charles and Walker who are the three children of the late Cllr. Brumskine cried that their father was a teacher, mentor, inspiration, a family personality and a God-fearing man who always wanted to see the best out of his family.
