The Liberia National Police (LNP) spokesperson, Cecelia Clarke, along with her team has returned to her inky fraternity to find her footing and build stronger synergies.
Among media institutions she visited on Tuesday was The Inquirer Newspaper where she expressly told the institution that her tour was intended forge a closer working relationship for more partnership.
She assured of her availability and accessibility at all times and she can be reached in case of any media-related issues or some other information involving the media and or police intervention relating to civilians.
She thanked the institution for all its support over the time, adding that now that a media person has ascended the position, it is time that they make the difference and practice what they were taught about journalism.
“We are already friends and we pray that the friendship and collaboration continues; we hope to cement our working relationship and create more so that the society can trust us. I hope that we can do business together in the line of press releases, notices or other things that we will want to put in the paper,” she reminded the institution.
Acknowledging their proposal on behalf of The Inquirer Newspaper, the Administrative Manager, Jennie Fallah Wounuah, welcomed them and assured them of more collaboration as well as good relationship.
Madam Wounuah advised the LNP spokesperson to be flexible with the media when it comes to getting information and hoped that journalists will not pass through difficulty as it was before noting, “We are grateful for the visit; our doors are always opened for businesses from your office and we pray that the connection that begins today will continue till the end.”
