“We Will Build Robust Dynamic Military”-Deputy Defense Minister Assures

The newly confirmed Deputy Defense Minister for Administration, Augustine Larmin has assured of his unwavering commitment to working along with the Minister of Defense to ensure the restructuring of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).
Dr. Larmin said as Deputy Minister for Administration, he will not only assist the Minister of Defense with the day-to-day running of the Ministry, but will also be a key player in its mission to build a robust and dynamic military.
Dr. Larmin, who was appointed by President Joseph Boakai and got confirmed recently by the Liberian Senate on Thursday, June 13, 2024, has since taken over as Deputy Defense Minister for Administration at the Ministry.
He said with the support of the government including members of the Senate, continued, they aim to create a secure and prosperous future for the country, where citizens can live without fear and the country’s borders are protected and added, “This mission is paramount, and I am fully committed to its success.”
