The Liberia National Police (LNP) has received a donation of 75 pairs of Police shoes from the National Bomi County Association in the Americas (NBCAA).
During the presentation of the donation at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police yesterday, the president of the USA-based Bomi County Citizens Association, Musa Willie, said the donation is in recognition of the hard work being done and continue to carry out by the Police.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Administration of the Liberia National Police, the Deputy Inspector General of Police for Administration, William K. Mulbah, expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the USA-Based Bomi County Citizens Association for the donation.
Col. Mulbah further called on other well-meaning Liberians to emulate the good example of the USA-based Bomi County Citizens Association and also promised that the items that were given to them will be used for the intended purpose.
The National Bomi County Association in the Americas is a 501C3, membership-based, welfare support, non-profit organization operated within the United States of America and strives to address the general welfare of its members and to improve the living condition of the people of Bomi County.
The organization’s goals are to protect common interests, general welfare, prosperity, and to nurture a strong community spirit that fosters greater understanding and good relationships among themselves with other people, and organizations both in the diaspora and Liberia
Some of their objectives includes fostering a keen sense of solidarity with democratically elected governments that respect and uphold the universal standards of human rights in Liberia
They also creates opportunities for self-empowerment and giving back to Bomi County and its people through educational, economic, legal, social, and humanitarian services.
The organization build and promote strong community spirit and unity among members of the Association and its affiliates.
