Senator Twehway Donates Coat Suits To Rivercess

Days to the grand final of the 2023/2024 National County Sports Meet, Senator Bill Twehway of Rivercess County generously donated 22 pieces of coat suits and 22 pairs of footwear to the County kickball team.
Rivercess County secured a victory over Bomi in the semi-final, propelling them to the final match against Nimba on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium in Paynesville.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Twehway, affectionately called ‘the Elephant’ by fans and supporters, stated that his contribution serves as a gesture to inspire the Rivercess County kickball team towards clinching the kickball trophy in their encounter against Nimba.
Confident in the team’s capabilities, Twehway emphasized that with his assistance, alongside the backing of his colleagues and the citizens of Rivercess, the county stands a strong chance of claiming this year’s kickball championship.
He extended his gratitude to the girls from Rivercess County for the jubilation and delight they have brought to the county.
Prior to his political tenure, Twehway had been a significant supporter of both the kickball and football teams in the county.
Encouraging community participation, he urged the residents of Rivercess County to show up in large numbers on Sunday and rally behind the kickball team in their pursuit of victory.
