Liberian International forward, Kpah Sherman, has completed his move to Kedah FA in the Malaysian Super league for a mouthwatering deal.
Kpah penned one year deal recently to join Kedah FA ahead of the 2020 Malaysian Super league season.
The 27-year-old Liberian International finished as top soccer in the Malaysian Super League last season while showcasing his talent for PKNS.
He was in the state of Kedah, Saturday, November 30, 2019 to formally meet the Kedah FA Authorities and was later unveiled to the fans.
His move to Kedah will see him feature in the Asian Champions League (AFC Champions League) qualifying stage in 2020.
The club and the Liberian international had long been admirers of each other since 2017.
Kpah Sherman expressed happiness completing what he considers, “a dream move” to one of the power houses in the Malaysian Super League.
He wrote on his social media site, “If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough. Since 2017 a marriage waiting to happen! I’m Glad I’m finally here and appreciate these amazing Fans. Can’t wait to start 2020 together and achieve together.Thank You Kedah. To PKNS FC and all the amazing staff and players, I appreciate you and wish you all the best as we part. God Bless,” Kpah said.
The Red Eagles, as Kedah is nicknamed, describes the arrival of Kpan Sherman to their squad as “a big catch”.
On the club website, they reported that, “When the list of players were announced by Kedah’s head of unit Anas Hafiz Mustaffa on Wednesday evening, the two that immediately jumps out are the signing of former PKNS FC striker Kpah Sherman and former Terengganu FC striker Tchetche Kipre. While both are subjected to completion or medical and signing on the dotted line, it represented the renewed hope for the Red Eagles ahead of the 2020 season”, the club said.
Kpah said he wants to help his new club achieve greatly in the AFC Championship.
