MIND Supports Kouh’s LFA’s Presidency Bid

The Movement with Integrity for National Development (MIND), under consensus mandate of its Board of Directors, executives, and members has given its unabated support to Mr. Cassell Anthony Kuoh for the presidency of Liberia’s football Association.

The group said, amongst other things, that the CEO and president of FC Kallon Liberia, in his bid for the presidency of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), having served as Vice president for Operations is a proven sports developer with demonstrated commitment to youth development in sports, exhibiting this through the management of FC Fassell which has provided job to many Young Liberians across the country.

MIND’s operational leadership note that not only has he shown capacity for leadership of the LFA by promoting males, but consistent with his belief in gender parity, he has similarly invested in female sports, giving opportunities to many young females who would have otherwise become vulnerable to mischievous lifestyles and unproductive in society.

Mr. Kuoh also a humanitarian, besides being a businessman, has helped less fortunate men and women groups in different capacity building training programs and MIND testified that it has consistently followed Kuoh over the years and observed him to be one person who has been reaching out to many less fortunate and disadvantaged in society, extending food aid and scholarships to the needy.

“We therefore stand with him without equivocation because we believe that his ability to take the Sports Association to new heights through modernization, workers welfare and decentralization of the institution’s operations is undoubted,” MIND expressed.

The group expressed, “During our interactions with many persons within the Association to determine what constitutes urgent needs of the organization, it was learnt that institutional advancement, players, coaches and staffs welfare were trending interest of the Association.”

“Kuoh has assured that, while he acknowledged the progress yet made in the post war history of the Association, he is aware that much needs to be done, and under his stewardship the LFA will endeavor to model itself in way that are consistent with universally acceptable standards,” the group said.

The group assured that Kouh has further given guarantee that his plan for modernization inculcates plan for improving the various tournaments and leagues supervised by the Association, stressing commitment to players and coaches insurance as a way of getting the best from these pivotal actors in the arena of football.

MIND publicly espouses support for Kuoh’s bid for the presidency and urges all and sundry to unequivocally stand by this expert sports developer as we envision, on the foundation of the current works in football, humanitarianism; a better LFA that puts institutional, players and coaches welfare above the comfort of the presidency.

“We opine that, for a better leadership of the LFA, members of the executive committee must be realistic to trust Kuoh with the presidency at the Football Association in Liberia.
