NHA’s New Management Team Encourages Staff

The Managing Director of the National Housing Authority (NHA), Florence K. Geegbae, has urged both senior and junior staff members to “keep all hands-on deck” and embrace innovation and actively contribute meaningful ideas to advance the entity’s objectives.
Emphasizing the significance of collaboration and creativity, the Managing Director underscored the vital role each staff member plays in realizing the organization’s vision.
The head of the newly appointed management team at the NHA made the remarks when she convened a well-attended acquaintance meeting at its headquarters on Capitol Hill, Monrovia.
During the gathering on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the Managing Director emphasized the importance of collective effort in fulfilling the NHA’s mandate of providing low-cost and affordable housing units across all 15 political subdivisions of the country.
“The NHA remains committed to its mission of addressing the housing needs of the Liberian people. By fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity, the NHA aims to enhance its capacity to deliver accessible and sustainable housing solutions to communities nationwide,” she said.
The Managing Director (MD) and her newly appointed deputies, Prince Saah Bonnah, Deputy Managing Director for Administration (DMDA), and Alex W. Railley, Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services, pledged to revitalize the functionality of the entity to align with its intended purpose.
The MD further assured her staff and stakeholders on the importance of efficiency and effectiveness of her team’s dedication to rebranding the NHA to better fulfill its constitutional mandate.
The MD additionally highlighted the organization’s commitment to fostering partnerships with both governmental and private entities to bolster housing development initiatives nationwide.
By attracting essential support, the entity targets to play a pivotal role in stimulating economic growth through the provision of housing solutions.
As part of the management’s strategic agenda, the MD announced plans to incorporate insurance coverage for staff and up to three of their children within the entity’s budget.
This initiative underscores the management’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its workforce.
Madam Geegbae and her team seized the opportunity of the day’s gathering to extend heartfelt appreciation to President Joseph N. Boakai for the honor of their appointment, and the trust placed in them to administer the affairs of the NHA.
They expressed profound gratitude for the warm welcome and overwhelming support received from the staff and stakeholders.
Madam Geegbae further underlined the importance of diligence and commitment in achieving the organization’s objectives.
She admonished all staff members to adhere to punctuality, maintain presence in their respective offices, and approach their assignments with the utmost seriousness to ensure the fulfillment of set targets and goals.
The new management team is fully dedicated to advancing the NHA’s mission and looks forward to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to make significant strides in the housing sector.
