House Speaker J. Fonati Koffa has announced the appointment of 18 key committees to further strengthen legislative efforts and governance within the chamber.
The appointed individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, reflecting the commitment to effective and comprehensive representation of the people.
The appointed committees and their respective chairs are as follows:
Dixon Seboe, Chair, Ways, Means, Finance Development; Michael Thomas, Chair, Judiciary; Clarence Gar, Chair, Public Accounts & Expenditure; Frank Saah Foko, Jr., Chair, Maritime; P. Mike Jury, Chair, Investment & Concession, and Eugene Kollie, Chair, Mines & Energy Natural Resource.
Others are Foday Fahnbulleh, Chair, Good Governance and Reform; Richard Nagbe Koon, Chair, Hydro Carbon; Musa Hassan Bility, Chair, National Security; Matthew Joe, Chair, Public Works & Rural Development; Zinneh Norman, Chair, Agriculture, Forestry, & Fisheries; Julie Wiah, Chair, Health; Ellen Attoh Wreh, Chair, State Enterprises, Commissions, and Autonomous Agencies; Ivar Jones, Chair, Post & Telecommunications; Bintu Massaley, Chair, Youth & Sports, Alex Noah, Chair, Commerce & Industry; Siafa Momo Kpoto, Chair, Transport, and Abu Kamara, Chair, Contracts & Monopolies.
