The International Overseer of the Tabernacle of David Church of the Apostles’ Doctrine International (TODCAD), Apostolic World Christian Assembly (WACA), and Mission Reach International (MRI), with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, is calling for continual prayers for peace and the people of Liberia.
Citing James 5:10-11, which tells Christians to wait patiently and see what the end of the Lord will be, Bishop Larry Togba Garnagee Bryant explained how his prophesy over Liberia in New Kru Town 20 years ago (2003) is still being honored by God, adding that, that shows that the people of Liberia have been obedient to the word of the Lord.
“I have stated in the past, I was sent to Liberia as an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ by the will of God. In 1985, I asked God to show me my future and he gave me a dream. It revealed that I was preaching in the Monrovia City Hall and this came to pass 15 years later in 2000. Liberia has been chosen by God for me to lay a foundation and restore the true teaching of Christ, the Apostles’ doctrine in West Africa,” he maintained.
“By the grace of God, I am very happy to see that the elections went relatively peacefully. During my travels to Liberia in 2023, I quoted a prophecy that I gave in 2004 by the word of the Lord to the AWCA brethren, stating that if Liberians wanted the peace to remain, they must have fair and transparent elections. Once again, by the grace of God, we see that God has honored the word of his servant,” he revealed.
The bishop then congratulated President George Weah and his staff for conceding peacefully, noting, “I received several phone calls from my Liberian brothers for possible emergency food for fear of a violent election.”
He added, “By the grace of God, my prayer is that the new administration has a mind and a heart for the people of Liberia and I am encouraging everyone to keep the new administration in prayer and work together with the new President-elect, Joseph Boakai, so that as a people, we can continue to keep the years of the civil war behind us by the grace of God.”
