Cassell Kuoh Could Return To Football

An undeniable inside source has hinted that the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FC Fassell is contemplating on returning to Liberian football following his long absence.
Kuoh, a former Vice President for Operations at the Liberia Football Association (LFA) is known in the football space as one figure that brought transformation to top flight club football in recent history.
The rebranding and total transformation of little known FC Fassell and how several locally-hailed star players championed their way to the limelight of Liberian football can be credited to the farsighted team spirit portrayed by Kuoh and co-administrators during his heydays as CEO of the club.
Though the club has been through some doggy moments, the club, FC Fassell, will go down in modern football history as one of the most organized, tidy and productive football organizations that graced the local league.
The Fassell FC former CEO has been quiet since his return to the country from the USA but reports are now emerging that the one time LFA’s best sports administrator is poised to resurface in competitive football administration.
Even though the information is yet to be independently verified, pundits have described Kuoh’s passion for the local game as unmatched, claiming that his return to football administration will rekindle the rivalry spirit in the top-flight once again.
It was FC Fassell that showcased the brilliance of Pawala Janyan, another exquisite football personality who is currently serving as an Executive Committee member of the Liberia Football Association (LFA). Janyan and others smart football administrators rose through the ranks of Fassell FC.
FC Fassell was established as a beacon of hope for bright and emerging football talents. It burst unto the football scene with optimism and plenty of prospects.
The team was nicknamed Soccer Missionaries made its first continental appearance in 2015 when they represented Liberia in the Preliminary Round of CAF Confederation Cup.
In the same year, the Soccer Missionaries cruised to the finals of the 2015 President’s Cup. Fassell was also crowned LFA knockout champions in 2014.
In 2014, under the tutelage of Cassell Kuoh as Chief Executive Officer, FC Fassell qualified for LFA 1st Division after a splendid show of brilliance by the team in the second tier of the league. Prior to their ascendency, the team was regarded as Liberia’s most organized second division team in the country. By 2013, FC Fassell was amongst winners of the Prestigious Golden Image Awards. They won the 2013 Golden Image Award Football Tournament.
In an effort to solicit or attract ways of helping young Liberian players get international exposure, Kuoh in 2011, invited one of the world best football scouts, Dominic Richie. Dominic visited Liberia on the invitation of FC Fassell-Liberia with the goal of redefining soccer development in Liberia.
Additionally, in 2011 Kuoh introduced fc fassell ‘Future Star Awards’ under the theme ‘Celebrating youth Soccer Excellence.’
Football pundits have welcomed reports of Cassell Kuoh’s return to Liberian football. Though there are mixed reactions amongst football bans regarding the news with some encouraging the Fassell former CEO to take some time off from football administration, more persons have see attempt by Kuoh as the most important decision in his life at this point.
When Mr. Kuoh was contact regarding such report, the FC Fassell former CEO declined commenting.
