As part of campaign conduct, Mr. Tonpo said there will be absolutely no tearing down of campaign posters, adding, “No deface of campaign posters by opponents. No use of vulgarism against each other. No non-PUL MEMBER should campaign for candidates. All candidates’ should inform the EC of their campaign launch date which will be regulated by the EC to avoid conflicts. Also, in the Vice presidential race, the current PUL Secretary General, Daniel Nyakonah’s

quest to take one step above is being heavily challenged by a female Vice presidential candidate, Weemon Jallah-Cole Boyce

who is said to have come with the support of the Female Journalists Association of Liberia.
In the Secretary General’s category, E. J. Nathaniel Daygbor of the New Dawn Newspaper who is going against Musa B. Kenneh of Truth FM, both of whom are past presidents of the Legislative Pool ( LEGISPOL).
Mr. Daygbor’s bid seemed to be boosted by members of the reporters assigned at the Legislature although his contender, kenneh, was not endorsed by reporters covering that same Legislature; Daygbor is in constant discussions with several colleagues who believe in his ability to lead in order to get the majority share of the votes from the Legislature.
For the Assistant Secretary position, three were qualified which include; Akoi M. Baysah of Liberty Radio; Jutonu Kollie News Director of Prime FM and Moses K. Garzeawu, a reporter of KMTV.
