Several Local Clubs To Participate In Scouting Tournament

Several Liberian based local clubs are expected to participate in a scouting football tournament that will take place in the coming week for four days.

The International Youth Scouting Tournament Africa (IYSTA), in collaboration with Real Muja Football Club (RMFC), is expected to hold a four-day tournament in Liberia.

Participating teams include the collaborating side, Real Muja Football Club, FC Garo’u, Discoveries Sports Academy, and Monrovia All Star.

Others are Tebeh Football Academy, West Point, Global All Star, and Pepper Football Club.

The tournament will provide an opportunity for young Liberian players to be scouted, while opening doors for bigger opportunities in their football careers.

The sporting encounter is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 3, 2023, at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Practice Pitch in Paynesville.

Meanwhile, professional scouts from Sevilla Football Club in Spain, Al Ain in the United Arabs Emirate, A.J. Auxerre in France, and Football Club Kobenhavn in Demark, are expected to be in Liberia for the tournament.
