LIBANGO Apologizes For Technical Difficulties To Access LEC Token

The LIBANGO vending platform has acknowledged and sincerely apologized for the recent technical difficulties its customers are going through to purchase/access their electricity token.

A few days ago, The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) announced that was grappling with technical challenges on its Libango vending platform, leaving customers without access to electricity tokens.

The disruption, LEC furthered, affected various purchasing methods, including Libango vendors and popular digital platforms such as MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, TipMe, and the Ecobank Mobile App.

To address the inconvenience faced by its customers and ensure continued access to electricity, LEC announced the establishment of temporary vending points at strategic locations, including the Waterside Headquarters, Bushrod Island office, and the Anti-Power Theft campaign site at Duport Road.

But LIBANGO, on a release issued over the weekend, said, “We would like to take this opportunity to address disruption in purchasing your electricity tokens due to technical difficulties on our end.”

“And we want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We deeply value your trust and want to assure you that we are committed to resolving these issues in a few days,” the release stated.

According to LIBANGO, in its release, it encountered unexpected technical challenges that resulted into disruptions of their service, admitting that these difficulties have affected LEC costumers, making it difficult to purchase electricity tokens via the normal channels.

To address the problem, LIBANGO said its dedicated team sprang into action upon noticing the technical difficulties, informing LEC and working with them on plans in getting their system issues resolved.

This, the release furthered, that both LIBANGO and LEC have been working tirelessly and around the clock on interim solutions, to identify and fix the root causes and implement measures that will prevent such occurrences in the future.

The release added, “We take these issues seriously and are focused on restoring normalcy and enhancing the stability of our systems. Your trust is paramount to us, and we are fully devoted to regaining your confidence, as your partnership and patience are greatly valued as we work through these challenges.”
