Presenting the certificate the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of the Bill Rodgers Foundation, thanked Ambassador Stephene Audrey Kpoto for her continues support to youth development in Liberia and voiced that his organization decided to honor and certificate her after their careful observation of her developmental goals.
In their promise to work with her for the growth of youth development, Bill Rodgers highlighted that the aim of his foundation is to help discover some of the great talents or brains of youth in the sporting arena in Liberia.
Rodgers stressed that he and his comrade Joshua Rayes of Men’s Soccer head Coach from the USA noticed that Ambassador Kpoto has enormous passion for youth development and that they from the sporting area have come to work along with her so that they can help bring her youth development plan to light.
Rodgers added, “My organization’s ultimate goal is to give the young people the gift they deserve and that is to help develop their skills in the sporting arena and we believe that Ambassador Kpoto is one of such persons that can help us put that idea together properly for the growth of youth talents in Liberia.”
CEO Bill Rodgers spoked during a visit to Ambassador Kpoto’s home in Bentol City, Montserrdo County to see for themselves the developmental plans she have for youth development and those she has already started.
Coach Rayes described the talents spotted in Liberian youth footballers as very encouraging and hoped to work hand-in-hand with the Bill Rodgers Foundation to help improve the skills of those youth athletes as he described Ambassador Kpoto’s youth development plans as timely.
He called on Ambassador Kpoto to allow nobody change her mind from the good plans she has put together because such plans are great and that is should not only be for youth in her home but for the entire country.
Coach Rayes added, “With this plan, you should rather go higher because you have vision for development and no one should stop you until your aims are accomplished.”
Responding, Ambassador Kpoto first paid tribute to Rodgers and his friend Rayes for the honor bestowed on her and vowed not to listen to what people say about the developmental plans she has put together until they are accomplished.
Ambassador Kpoto said, “To the young people, I want to say to you that this is an opportunity that I’m about to put together for all of us as people of this our beloved country Liberia and it will include the construction of a sports park here in Bentol City and in Sinkor for you to be trained in your area of specialization in the sporting arena and again I say thanks to Rodgers and Rayes for your kind gesture and I assure you all that I’m ready to work with your organization in developing sports in Liberia.”
